So it has been a long time since anything has been posted. Progress Update: Nothing. Unfortunately I have been busy working on other projects, and having only a 2 person crew has put TFS at a standstill at the moment. I wasn't sure I liked the current color scheme in the kitchen, with the light blue walls. Out of all these the only ones I can see working is the dark red, light greenish, and light blue. It has been my experience that darker walls give more depth to a room, so I took a few darker colors and tried them out to see how they looked. Throughout the majority of the film Doug will be "Filthy" so of course we had to come up with some dirt for him to wear until he gets cleaned. This is the first try at UV mapping the scum onto Doug, Jeff Heustis unwrapped the character and I brought the image to Christopher Ong who then painted in the scum. I am experimenting with having it raining in the opening scene. As you can see in this image (or can't see) the rain won't even show up, I have dupli-vert particle rain drops but there not showing in the render very well, and I am also having trouble getting a descent halo off the street light.

Depth of FieldUnfortunately the Blender depth of field has problems that we would have to deal with...most likely so I am looking into another way to get DoF...which I would probaly do with After Effects. Here I have an image, and a greyscale image that would represent areas close and far from the camera lens.I would use the greyscale image to regulate the focus distance...sadly I am still having
