I probably would... if I had a Blu-Ray Player... personally, I think that Blu-Ray and HD-DVD are both things that will fail in the end to HD broadcasted over Broadband Internet. Most people like their DVD collections, and really aren't willing to spend all that money on a Blu-Ray player. So I say that you go ahead and render it all in HD, but just release it on DVD. You can also offer a two-disc edition that has the movie on a regular DVD, and, on a seperate DVD data disc, has things like the models, blends, and the movie as an HD .mov in 720p and 1080i.
